Maisha Davis, MD, MPH
they | them

Maisha Davis is a Family Medicine physician who has returned home to Los Angeles after spending the last two decades learning from and serving the communities of the San Francisco Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. Clinically, their focus revolves around leveraging their interest and experiences in integrative medicine, primary care, and gender affirming care to Black and Brown communities, queer and trans folks, individuals living with HIV, and adolescents. Maisha is dedicated to keeping the art in the “art of healing” by thinking outside the box and centering patients’ humanity in their clinical practice above all. As such, much of their work outside of the clinical environment has been rooted in developing a critical antiracist praxis and has taken the form of lectures, trainings, and community organizing.
